History:
Bjorn's mother is Danish, and she was born in Denmark. When she was five years old her parents moved to Seattle, and thoughout her years there Bjorn's mother made a lot of friends, and a fair amount of enemies. Bjorn was concieved on a one off, where Bjorn's mother was drunk and had a one-night stand with a guy whom she trusted for a long time. His mother didn't believe in abortion and she turned to her own parents for help, who, despite being reluctant about the whole thing, finally accepted that Magdalone, Bjorn's mother, wanted to have the child. Lone, as Madgalone was often called, had her close group of friends who regularly took care of Bjorn, despite his off-the-wall temper tantrums which only got worse and worse with time,
Bjorn wasn't exactly a very well behaved child, he would cause his mother many problems, and she decided to work two shifts at the hospital to pay for Bjorn to be home schooled. Lone was certain no school would accept a child, and unwittingly cut Bjorn off from socializing, which eventually grew into his being diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, which many people began to bully him for, calling him Aspie and the like. Bjorn was in high school now, eventually joining people in the outside world after being put on medication. Bjorn's problems only increased though, although he began to show a lot of avanced reading and writing skills, becoming a journalist for the school newsletter.
Bjorn began to show a great interest in music, and focused himself on learning many instruments. Despite being only nineteen Bjorn is classically trained on the piano and the violin, and also plays the electric guitar, the bass and the drums. Music was the only thing Bjorn could focus on besides his writing, and of course he cut himself off more by playing music all the time. He saw it as a strength to play so many instruments, but people on the outside looking in realized Bjorn was heading down a road where he could become a complete and utter hermit.
Recognizing Bjorn's problem as his brother also had it, a young boy called Rhys, a year below Bjorn when he was a Sophomore, made friends with him. Bjorn found it strange to hang around with a Freshman at first but eventually accepted it. Rhys was very into the bass, and Bjorn and him decided to start a band. Gathering up their friends Jay and Kyan the four of them began playing under the moniker 'Falderal', Bjorn and Rhys writing the songs and the other two contributing here and there, and they all wrote the music to the sons together. They recorded their first EP, and at the age of seventeen (Rhys still being sixteen, however) they'd released a full length self-titled album.
Falderal became local celebrities in the scene, but a few months ago they had to move as Jay needed to take care of his sick aunt, who needed to be accompained almost twenty-four-seven. Desperate not to break the band up the three others decided to move with Jay, buying a three bedroom house together in Kentucky, Jay would sleep at his Aunt's and the other three at the house, although Jay never failed to show up for when Kyan cooks breakfast (the other two can't cook to save their lives). Falderal is currently in the process of recording their new songs for their sophomore album, 'M.I.A'.
Personality:
Bjorn is a normal boy, born and raised in the heart of Seattle. Bjorn's mother is Danish and his father was American, making Bjorn half Danish, half American. Bjorn is a very upbeat person, he's not into the whole self-pity thing. He rarely deals with his problems face-to-face and therefore he bottles up a lot of his problems. This has resulted in a lot of problems for Bjorn, and as he was homeschooled from a young ag and unable to socialize he has devoloped problems along the way. At first people thought nothing of Bjorn's anger problems, but it soon became apparent they were getting too bad to control. He was taking to the doctors and was later diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. Along with this syndrome Bjorn developed a strong sense of humor, and after that he was told he had Hyperlexia, and he excelled in writing and reading, becoming the top of his class. However, Bjorn has a lot of social problems, but has managed to overcome a lot of them.
Bjorn has been a vegetarian since a young age, becoming picky in his diet, which was believed to be associated with his Hyperlexia. He hated meat, and wouldn't eat it, he also become picky about certain vegtables as well. In this case Bjorn grew up a vegetarian, and as he grew older agreed that perhaps Hyperlexia had given him the greatest gifts alive - vegetarianism, a sense of humor and advanced reading and writing skills. Bjorn is often let down because of his AS problem, but in some ways Hyperlexia relieves that fact and he feels that it's all balanced out. Bjorn can get violent when he gets angry, and despite looking like he couldn't hurt a fly Bjorn can be extremely violent towards people. He has had anger management but the bottom line is even with medication he is stuck with the syndrome.
Bjorn is very interested in writing lyrics, and also music. Growing up in Seattle and in the heat of the Grunge era he is a big fan of bands such as Pearl Jam and Nirvana. 'The Seattle Sound' as it is sometimes referred to as is something that's special to Bjorn, and a lot of the msic he plays is inflenced by that. However, he is also influenced bythe bands his mother likes, such as Sort Sol, Mercyful Hate and Saybia. Therefore Bjorn's influences range quite a bit, and he's not very particular about the kind of music he specifically likes, although he's not a big country fan, nor opera. Bjorn's favorite bands include Nirvana, Datarock, Good Shoes, The Klaxons, The Sound of Animals Fighting and Nine Inch Nails.
Bjorn is a very opinionated young boy, being against things such as euthanasia, abortion and animal testing. Bjorn has been in many protests, which have all ended badly given his situation. Bjorn doesn't like being pressurized by a lot of people, and if their are people opposing his views despite how much Bjorn tries to appreciate they think differently it always ends up with him starting a fight, verbally or physically. He is a very understand person for the most part, able to see through the eyes of other people as well as keep a level head at the same time and stick out his argument. Bjorn is a very stubborn person at the best and worst of times really, and sometimes he can't see otherwise.
Bjorn is quie shy at times, having been homeschooled for the majority of his life, therefore he missed out on secondary socialization with people around him. He has since become a little more confident, and after graduating highschool he has stuck it out with his band, 'Falderal', whose first single 'The Begger and the Wastrel' became something of a local smash hit around Seattle. The band then encountered a problem, their drummer needed to move to Kentucky to look aftr a sick member of his family,and the band then decided to uproot themselves from Seattle, say goodbye to their parents and move over together to Kentucky.
Bjorn is a very friendly guy, when he's feeling calm, that is. He's not horribly cheesy or romantic, and he will never rush into relationships. He's very sensitive about thse kind of things and he tends to take his time. If a girl rushes him he usually think she's not worth it, it'd often the other way around, where the man pressurizes the woman about sex and the like, but Bjorn htinks it's horribly over-rated. His ex-lover and him were together for almost five years, so he's being extremely careful about the kind of things he does it Kentucky, he's not really looking right now.
